Hi All
We are currently on PT 8.47.15 and Apps 8.9. We plan to upgrade to PT 8.50. Our upgrade will also involve OS upgrade from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008, DB upgrade from SQL server 2000 to 2008.
We are planning below approach, please confirm if this is correct ?
1) Install new OS on box
2) Install new DB
3) Bring the copy of old DB to newly created DB instance, and update this database properties to the supported version, so that it will support the db instance as SQL server 2008
4) Install PT 8.50.10 & FSCM 9.1 (New PSHOME) and run the release scripts from 8.48 to 8.50 then connect to New DB upgraded instance(2 Tier)
