odp.net on windows access to an oracle db solaris server

Hi everybody,

Somewhere I found as a faq that odp.net as part of an oracle client on windows accessing to an Oracle db on Solaris. This assumption I'm pretty sure but the thing is that I would like to confirm it. The product I'm developing is a web application and it has the architecture odp 11.0.. on windows and it's tested against an Oracle db on windows. The questione is, regardless the web app itself, should this work without any known issue against the same db installed on solaris? where could I find such architecture specified in documents, know issues, etc.?
