Configuring the FTP service on Sun Solaris 10u9

 I have started the FTP service on the Solaris box using the following command:

inetadm -e ftp

I have gone to the /etc/ftpd/ftpusers file and remarked the user I am trying to connect with.  Since I have done this I no longer get an error when trying to FTP to the server, but the connection doesn't seem to want to work.  It does not prompt me for a password.  If I look at the command window I get an OPEN <ServerName> message but that's it no other error.  I have checked the /etc/adm/messages file and do not see any error when I try connecting.
