Information on POS Configuration - Push Button Functionality

Hi,

 I am working on a solution for using the POS configuration - Touch Button functionality and have a specific question. Could you please respond if you have worked in this area?

Query: In POS_BUTTON_Detail table, there is a column called Button_type which has a list of valid values. The valid values are

U - Multi Selection S - Single Selection I - Single Item M - Major Category N - Minor Category X - No Button P - Programmable Could some one please tell me what is the significance of each of these values? Thanks for you time in advance.
