Problems running a Generic Technology Connector

We are in the process of deploying Oracle Identity Manager 11g.  As part of the learning process, I am creating a Generic Technology Connector which is supposed to create users from data contained in a flat file.  When testing the GTC I am using a flat file containing the following data:

#GTC trusted Source
login|firstName|lastName|eMail|organization
GMARX|Groucho|Marx|gmarx@email.com|Company

When I run the connector, it appears to run fine and no errors are reported on the job management screen.  However, the user is not being created.  It appears that the problem lies with the organization field (organization=Company). When creating the GTC, I mapped the input field "organization" to the OIM table field "Organization". But in the log, the value is being inserted into the OIM table field "act_key" and then an error is being thrown.  A portion of the log file is shown below.  Any ideas how I can fix this?

Howdy, Stranger!
