FYI Notification for a certain PO Amount Limit

Hi,

We have set up the approval groups to send out Approval notification with amount limit 10,000. Now we have a requirement to just send out a FYI notification for 3,000$. The PO will go through the normal approval path but just have to send FYI notication to the person who would have normally approved it if it was 10K.

I am not sure where the actual amount limit check happens in PO Approval Workflow. Any help, ideas is appreciated.
