Finding out NIC firmware version

 Hi Solaris Experts,
Need some help.

how to find out the firmware version of NIC card,

Often we talk about firmware, but i am not sure if there is any dependencies/order/best practises in upgrading the firmware..

like obp upgrade -> HBA firmware upgrade -> NIC firmware upgrade -> o.s upgrade

throw some light on this
