General Ledger BU Setup:TableSet Control

Hi,

While doing the Business Unit setup in Peoplesoft 8.4 system we were choosen the TableSet Control values, Actually where and why it's been used in the system and what is the functionality of TableSet Control setup.

I Searched in PeopleBooks but I can't able to find the complete Idea about that.

Could anyone provide the details for the same.
