Items on a promotion hang on the conflict checking status...

 Hi All,

          At times, when we try to change the end date of a promotion which is already active, then the promotion is set back to the conflict checking status. Majority of the items are cleared out but few items hang on the conflict checking status. Even after a weeks time we still read the screen in the conflict checking status and there is no conflict report as well...

Is there any way out to get the conflict checking to end... ???
