Business Events - Things to Consider

Hello Gurus,
We are exploring to subscribe to various Oracle Ebusiness seeded   Business Events published by AR, TCA/HZ.

Will appreciate if you have come across any issues/performance bottlenecks in business events.

Also I have specific question about error handling/re-processing:

In case there are any issues in the subscription call (custom code),how business events handles such errors? Will it re-process these failed subscription events at regular frequency?
