Inporting BLOB data into a linked server

  We are running SSRS 2008 R2 on a SQL Server 2003 install.  We have a large report that takes about 2 minutes to run in ReportManager.  We have put the main queries used in the Report in views on the Oracle 11g side, and are using stored procs to access them on SSRS through a Linked Server as much as we can.

Firstly, can we pull a BLOB from Oracle, though a Linked Server? And if so how?

Secondly, can this BLOB, which are raw file data of PNG file formatted images, be brought over with Openquery?

We suspect a table with a large amount of BLOBS on our Oracle 11g database may be one of the remaining issues.
