Need help on better excel upload tool to load large number of AR invoices/items into PS

 Hi-

We are planning to implement an excel load utility for loading large number of invoices(pending item data) into AR every day. Currently we are seeing Excel to CI as an option. However I have heard some concerns about performance issues with Excel to CIs. Is there a way we can load large number of invoices at a time using Excel to CI with better performance. Or is there a better tool available like the one for AP Voucher uploads(IB XML)? We are on PS FSCM 8.9
