Dual Port 10Gb Ethernet XFP won't link to Cisco 7010

Would anyone have ideas as to why two new XFP dual port network adaptors (X1027A-Z)  might not link up to a  Cisco 7010 switch.   I've checked and triple checks the T5220 components link to varify transceivers and NICs to server.  We have the right parts.
We have other single port Sun 10Gigabit NICs linked up and have been in production for a year or more, mainly in the Sun Blade T6320s, but I'm trying in a T5220.  I have other T5220s with single port 10 Gb NICs linked.  We've never had this issue before.

As of May 13, I've tried the latest Solaris 10 Update 9 with latest April CPU patch cluster.  Also tried with latest nxge patch and kernel patch  144488-14.
