Custom Records during upgrade
We are in the process of analyzing the efforts required for our upgrade and are yet to bring in an upgrade specialist. In the mean time we have a question if anyone can help with it.
If we customized a delivered record in the current system by adding a couple of more fields in there, when we upgrade what happens to the data in those fields. If we need that data, is it possible to customize the target system's record and then upgrade to bring that data too? How does this work. Can someone explain??
