migration of data from 11.5.10.2 to R12

We currently use collections functionality in 11.5.10.2 I am looking for a summary of things to consider when migrating collections data from 11.5.10.2 to R12. Does anyone know of any suitable documents?

Also I have heard that in R12 data for customers (receivables) and suppliers (payables) is shared. From a collections point of view what do I need to consider?
