ODAC 10.2.0.4 install on Windows 2008 x64 SP2

Trying to install ODAC 10.2.0.4 (unpacked from 10204_vista_w2k8_x64_production_client.zip) and I get the following error:

Checking operating system version: must be 5.0, 5.1, 5.2 or 6.0.  Actual 6.1

Failed <<<<

is there a patch to allow install to Windows 2008 x64 SP2, or is there a way to skip the prerequisite check?
