I am trying to auto-generate initial passwords satisfying policy and notify them by email for new accounts generated by trusted source reconciliation from EBS-HR.

Can I do this programmatically using an API?

I need to generate random password satisfying policy since in my configuration, my trusted source, EBS-HR, does not supply passwords. In my configuration, initial passwords must provisoned to OID/EBS-UM  for SSO to EBS-HR or EBS-UM and to AD for desktop logins.

Another initiative is currently deploying ESSO.  My only requirement is to set and notify an inital password that is used to login and configure ESSO.
