Need documentation on customizing steps for a paycycle

Hi,

We need to add a new step after the payment is complete in the paycycle. I reviewed the steps in peoplebook, but they are not too clear. Can you please provide  a more detailed doc showing a sample of paycycle customization. There is no information related to same available on metalink. I will appreciate if you have any relevant documentations on same.
