Dunning Plans and Finance Charges in Receivables R12

 Hi All

Currently in R11i Receivables, Finance Charges for a customer are calculated when we run the Dunning. 

Oracle EBS R12, uses Dunning Plans functionality through Advanced Collections. If we use Dunning Plans in R12, will the Finance charges be calculated?

If we use Strategies to score customers and send Dunning letters throught strategies, Will the finance charges be calculated?

What initiates the calculation of finance charges in R11i and R12?
