More information requested notification getting auto closed at responder's end

Hello Workflow experts,

We have iSupplier Portal implemented. The 'PO Acceptance/Rejection' notification goes to the buyer that shows the action taken by the supplier user. The Buyer has an option to request information from supplier for both acceptance/rejection notification. Take a case wherein the supplier XYZ has rejected a PO. A notification goes to Buyer that reads "iSupplier Purchase Order xxxxxxx has been Rejected by Supplier XYZ". Buyer can see 2 buttons in the notification, one is 'OK' and other is 'Request Information'. He clicks on the Request information button. He chooses the workflow participant as the 'supplier user who had accepted/rejected' the PO.
