BI Publisher vs Crystal Reports 2008 with Advanced Collections

 We are planning to Upgrade our Oracle EBS 11i to Oracle R12.1.3. We have to use Advanced Collections module for the Dunning letters functionality.


Q1. Oracle recommends BI Publisher for reporting needs with Oracle EBS R12.1.3. We are using Crystal Reports 2008. Does Crystal Reports 2008 would not be compatible with Oracle EBS R12.1.3?

Q2. Is BI Publisher part of OBIEE? Because our headoffice is using OBIEE for their reporting needs from a Peoplesoft ERP. Can we take leverage of that OBIEE to make BI Publisher work with our ORG implementation of Oracle R12.1.3?
