populating the columns data as attributes in OID

Hi - We used to have our authorization of the application with in a custom database. Now we are planning to move it OID, currently which we are using for only authentication of a user. As such I was able to assign the required object classes to users so that a attribute can be matched with a column in the database.

Can someone point a best way to populate the database column data in user attributes ?

The version we are using is OID 11.1.1.5 and database columns are in oracle database 11g.
