Installing Sun Directory Server v5.2.4 Admin interface on Windows 7 64-bit

My company currently has a corporate directory installed, using Sun Directory Server v5.2.4.  In the past, I have been involved in developing for LDAP and noticed that, while you can connect to Sun Directory using generic LDAP browsers (such as Softerra's), some attributes are only visible using the administration interface that Sun provided with the directory install.  So I have tried to keep, not the whole server, but the administration UI installed on my personal laptop so I can connect to our corporate server and develop/diagnose/fix stuff. 

However, I have just moved to a windows 7 64-bit, which is apparently unsupported on windows 7.  I tried looking into installing the latest admin UI onto my laptop, only to find that the interface is completely different (now web based and requires JEE container) and it is not compatible with v5.2.4.
