We have a requirement in Deal Management where the debt has different reset frequency compared to interest frequency. These are referred to VRDBs (Variable Rate Demand Bonds) with Weekly Reset Frequency but Interest is paid on the first business day of next month for the previous month. However, PeopleSoft does not support this functionality but provided workaround where the deal can be split into two components, one starting from the issue date to a date before Maturity where the reset frequency and monthly frequency coincide.

Is any one using this type of workaround or have any suggestions on how you handled a similar requirement?
