Staged Dunning fiunctionality (Reintroduced in R12.1.3 in Advanced Collections) Some important Quest

 The Background:

We are currently in Oracle R11i, We are using staged dunning. In one org, we have defined 3 Dunning Letter Sets. Dunning Letter Set1, Duning Letter Set2, Dunning Letter3. Dunning Letter Set1 is attached to Customer Profile CLass1, Dunning Letter Set2 is attached to Customer Profile class2, Dunning Letter Set3 is attached to Customer Profile class3. This is how different Dunning letter sets are attached to different type of customers. When  Generate Dunning Letters is run the Dunning letters are generated.

But If we move to R12.1.3 , STAGED DUNNING Functionality is reintroduced in R12.1.3 Collections Module. Because in R12.1.3 we do not attach Dunning letter sets to Customer Profile Classes. So we have to create 3 different customer views.  And If we choose Dunning Plans -> STaged Dunning as an options in collection method setup.
