Connect to Windows AD to share user accounts

Hello all

We are interested in integrating our 11.2.0.2 Enterprise Edition databases with Microsoft Active Directory in order to centralizeuser management on AD.

I'm told that this involves setting up Oracle Internet Directory as a go-between. I have a few questions regarding this:

- How complicated is it to set up and operate (we are well-versed in Windows and Oracle Database)?

- Are there any documents out there outlining how to do it (beyond reading all of the documentation and detecting the relevant parts as you go by)?

- Can several (about 30) databases on three servers share one OID installation?

- What is the precise product to install, considering we are useing 11.2.0.2 on Windows 2008R2 x86 and in general using  Windows 2008R2 x86  infrastructure?
