connection on oracle rac db

Hi all,
  We are trying to connect to an oracle 10.2.0.5 x64 Rac db through ODAC112021Xcopy_x64 and it works fine when we connect to one server only. But when in tnsnames we use the load balance connection string or the transaction application failover string we get deadlocks.
 
   we 've read that in distributed transactions TAF is not supported . Is that true?
 
   Do we need to consider something on the load balance case? like on each connection to put loadbalance=true?
