Centralised Management of Oracle ODBC Connections re 3000 desktops

We are ideally looking for a solution to manage the Oracle ODBC connection for 3000 end users. We were investigating the deployment of the ODBC connection to the end users via a group policy. Unfortunately our tests using this were nbot successful, as the password did not appear to be saved on the end user machines. We involved Microsoft,who verified our settings were accurate. Is there a way to deploy this ODBC connection to the end users successfully?
