Upgrade Path for India Localization from 11i to R12

Hi Gurus,

We understand that the India localization is no longer a 'bolt-on' in R12. Has anyone experienced the upgradation of this application from 11i to R12. If yes, pls share your experience.

We are particularly looking for answers around the following:

1. Are there any additional steps to be executed as part of the upgrade patching

2. Are there any additional post-upgrade activities like running scripts for data updates?

3. Any other practical tips that are helpful in this context.
