Peopletools 8.52 drops support for Windows XP
My company will not have all Windows XP machines upgraded to Window 7 until December 2013. We would like to begin an upgrade to Peopletools 8.52 but XP is still being used by developers and end users. We would like to understand how other companies, with the same situation, are addressing this problem. Specifically, are you concerned about browser connections from XP machines or just people running client software. We might be able to concentrate on upgrading developers and nVision users but will not be able to upgrade everyone accessing Peoplesoft from a browser.
Our alternative is to continue to patch our Tools 8.51 environment. But we would rather upgrade to 8.52 to take advantage of its new features.
