What is the use if Item Aggregate check box on Item Master Screen?

Hi All,

I want to know the use of Item Aggregrate check box on Item Master Screen. When I am Going through the Data Model I found Some Thing on ITEM AGGREGATE. When I am  Adding the Diffs to that Items we will use this Indicator.

But my question is after creating Item with Aggregate indicator where we can use this and what is the use of this indicator?

Can any one help on this issue.
