Results of AD User Trusted Reconciliation

Greetings,

I am sorry for posting such a simple question, it seems like this should be straightforward or I should remember it from essentials class - but I don't  and am unsure so I wanted to tap into this community for help.

 We are running Oracle Identity Manager 11g and I am running the AD User Trusted Recon scheduled job and it does create the OIM user as I expected.  However, I thought that from this scheduled job, it would have also created the AD resource value seen on the OIM user's resource tab - but it did not.   In other words - I expected that the link between the AD account and the OIM account to exist after running the AD User Trusted Recon job - but the current config I have does not.
