Items assigned against Physical WH

We have a physical WH and one Virtual WH.  The Physical WH has items "assigned" in item_loc and item_loc_soh as a legacy thing.  Does anyone know if there are any issues likely to be created if I remove all the items from the two tables for the physical WH? This is not a stock holding location.
