SEPS and custom attribute setter/getter

Hi!
Is it possible to use Secure External Password Store and Oracle wallet for storing my credentials and use such creds (something like oracle.security.client.myusername, oracle.security.client.mypassword) in my java application for making connection which are not related to Oracle Net?
