Problem storing password encrypted with ldapclient and OpenLDAP
Hello,
I have connected my Solaris 10 client to an OpenLDAP Server for authentication. Everything works fine. The only problem is, that when I use passwd to change a password, the password is stored as plain text in the OpenLDAP Server.
When I use Linux/Ubuntu, the password is stored encrypted. Ubuntu is configured to use exop to change the password. I have not found a way to configure this on the Solaris client.
Is there a way to store it encrypted like SHA or SSHA?
Thank you,
Andreas
