ODAC - Cannot fetch a row using a bookmark from OLE DB provider "OraOLEDB.Oracle" for linked server

Using SQL Server 2008/R2 and Oracle 11g, both hosted on a 64-bit host running Windows 2008/R2, I just installed the latest & greatest ODAC.

After redefining my linked servers and testing them, I discovered 'the bookmark error' is intermittent.

Rerunning the stored-procedure during the same session after a minute or two seems to clear it up.

It feels like connections are being orphaned and eventually timeout.

Are there configuration tweaks I need to help this?

Maybe a patch, or both?
