unable to change the from address sending workflow mailer notifications

Hi,

I tried to change the mail address sending the notifications using the below steps:

Edit Workflow Mailer: Message Generation: TEST

In step 4

Changed the from field to appltest@dohabank.com.qa

Now i sent test mail to suvaraj@dohabank.com.qa which is the override address.
The test mail is sent with the mail id prama@dohabank.com.qa instead of appltest@dohabank.com.qa

I have tried to send a test mail using telnet at OS level and it successfully sent the test mail from appltest@dohabank.com.qa
