SSL setup in PT 8.52

HiI am trying to setup SSL for our PeopleSoft 8.52.04 environment. We have in-house Microsoft CA server which issued a certificate. After setup website is running extremely slow and first page is not coming properly. No errors in Weblogic log. I noticed that our Root certificate Signature algorithm is SHA256withRSA while Server Certificate Signature algorithm name is SHA1withRSA. Just wanted to check if this could be an issue and if both the certificates should have the same Signature algorithm.
