Automated process to load Expense Mapping for U.S.

Has anyone ever created a process that would load G/L data from some type of input source into the Chartfield Expense Mapping USA tables?  We often have the need to do this on new aquisitions where there is a ton of keying that would have to be done and we have been asked to come up with a process of some kind to do this.  Another teammate looked at this once and he struggled with the excel to CI because of the second page that is accessed when you click on the link that says Edit Chartfields.
