Notification - Reconfirmation

We do have requirement in WF notification screen where user should reconfirm (via popup or any other way) if user clicks on Reject (Action). E.g. If user does not want to reject but by mistake click happened on Reject then Workflow simply accepts it and move forward.

We are using workaround of RAISE APPPLICATION ERROR mechanism to control it right now and counter item attribute (custom) to make sure reconfirm works once. Problem with this solution is user see error meessage tag (Red X)with message "Are you sure?". We did this in Post Notification and wanted to check if someone created better solution for it.
