OID 11.1.1.6 install + configure on AIX6.1

Having a rough time getting an install + configure to complete, after root user [OIDHome]/oracleRoot.sh and the configure phase begins it completes the new domain creation, then the installer shows an [OOB IDM CONFIG] Boostrap configuration failed error message.

Installer has not created the new ORACLE_INSTANCE directory.

I'm fairly sure the host prerequisites are OK, we have an OID 11.1.1.2 + patch 11.1.1.5 installed for an OID-only, no weblogic server, we're just interested in getting an updated 11g Internet Directory up and running, and we had that in the 11.1.1.5 ORACLE_INSTANCE and it worked fine.

Going for the same OID port so we're starting with a new 11gR2 database, the 11.1.1.6 RCU completed OK, and weblogic 10.3.6 generic is installed under a new middleware home.
