when MRP extend demand and can subassembly participate in MPS planning?

dear all,

some questions about MRP need help.

(1)when ERP extend downscale demand? MDS launch or MRP launch,or both?

(2)can subassembly planning method be MPS? i test this but finally planning nothing.only when assembly be MPS then normal.

(3)what is the meanning of forecast control: consume and derive? we us it for what?
