Will 10g oaam work with AL32UTF8

We're working on implementing OIF into our environment and hoping to use the same database configuration we have for OAAM. It's our understanding that OIF has a requirement that the database uses character set AL32UTF8 However, the current OAAM database is not using that characterset. We're pretty sure in 11g it is a requirement, but apparently not in 10g I'd like to know if oaam will work with AL32UTF8 in 10g. Can you help answer that?Our current OAAM version is oaam10_1_4_5_bp08.OAAM_10.1.4.5.2_GENERIC_100408.0300.
