about a setup of the static route of solaris10

 Hello, everyone. I am Solaris10. 8/11 is used. 
Although he would like to set up the number of hop of a static route by the route command, it is written that it is not supported and I am troubled by the on-line manual. 
Is this a bug of a document? 
Or can't a setup of the number of true fake hop be performed? 
If there are other setting methods, please let me know. 
I need your help well above.
