Any cash forecasting capabilities?

We manage our collections on a weekly cycle and cash forecasting is based on the week time period.  We're considering using Advanced Collections but I don't see any cash forecasting capabilities based on due date and promise date.  In fact, reporting from Advanced Collections seems quite sparse.  My question is two-fold:

1) how do other companies generate cash forecasts based on due date and promise date?

2) what method do other companies use for reporting out of Advanced Collections?
