Does OAM 11g need to be integrated with OVD for a OBIEE 11g solution?

I have installed and connfigured OID,OVD -11.1.1.6 and OBIEE 11.1.1.5 .
My query is Do Ineed OAM 11g to integrate OBIEE with OVD ?
 
My requirement is whenever a new user is created in OID and that user will be allowed to login in OBIEE login screen and will be authenticated against OVD which in turn OVD will be linked OID.
 
Please advise.
