PeopleSoft 9.1 Removing imbedded HTML codes from Job Posting Description field

In the PeopleSoft 9.1 Applicant Tracking Recruitment module, you can now create job postings using Rich Text.  This looks great on the PeopleSoft on-line posting, but is causing a problem for us when we need to extract the posting data using query. The HTML codes show up as part of the text in the Description field.  Does anyone have a suggestion for removing the HTML codes from the Description fields so that we just get the text of the posting?  We are creating the postings without formatting or we've pasted text from a text editor.  However, certain codes llike &nbsp get inserted.

Howdy, Stranger!
