Oracle ODBC 11g R2 Patch 3 Drivers Causes Slow authentication

 We upgraded our Windows 7 32-bit machines to Oracle 11 R2 Patch 3 ODBC drivers and now the dialog window for authenticating takes about a minute to come up. It was working fine before with patch 1 and 2 but increased time when we upgraded.
Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this or what to look at for testing?
