nVision - any way to make first sheet the active sheet after instance runs?

In previous versions of nVision/Excel, if I had multiple layouts or other sheets in a layout, I used a nvsInstanceHook macro to make the first sheet the active sheet after the instance ran.  But now (starting with Tools 8.49 or so?) it doesn't seem to matter what I put in the macro, it always saves with the last sheet as the active sheet.  Any suggestions?
