Promises to Pay

Hi,

Is it possible to record a promise to pay without linking it to a Invoice?

For example: Customer phones up and say they will pay $20 per month for the next 12 months. Is it possible to just record 12 promises not linked to any invoices?

I thought this may have been possible via the Account tab, then Payment Processing but the Promise tabs are missing?
